Raid Bayside

The 2017 season opener and a brand new event on the QRA calendar!
The Bayside Raid will be the first to make use of the stunning coastal regions that the great south-east has on the doorstep. A race against the clock, spend up to 4 hours paddling through coastal areas and trekking or running on coastal beaches and scrub, all the while hunting down checkpoints. Get your entry in early as the event is strictly limited to 50 teams of 2!

What? Part adventure race, part rogaine, the Bayside Raid is a race where teams of 2 compete to collect as many check points as possible over 4 hours via kayaking and trekking, all while navigating with map and compass.

Cost? $60 per person (includes kayak hire, post-race pizza and drink. Vegetarians catered for – please advise if you have preferences).

When? Saturday 28th January, 2017. Maps available from 6.30am with the
event starting at 7.30am.

Where? Bayside in South East Queensland, approximately 1 hour drive from the
Brisbane CBD. Exact location emailed in the week before the event.
